Passing intercity buses without entering the bus station

The Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Convent is located in the south of the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the village of Diveevo, which is located 180 km from Nizhny Novgorod, 65 km from Arzamas.

The most convenient way for pilgrims to get to Diveyevo is through the city of Arzamas. There are two passenger stations in Arzamas: Arzamas-1 and Arzamas-2. Minibuses (private companies) run from the station to Diveevo, and buses from the transport companies “Passenger” and “Poputchik” stop every hour near the Arzamas shopping center “Metro”. You can use them to get to Diveevo. The first bus leaves at 5.30, the last at about 23.30. You must reserve your seats in advance by calling: “Passenger” 8-800-555-05-39, “Helper” 8-987-559-22-22.
JSC Russian Railways sells tickets according to the “train + bus” scheme. Passengers of trains No. 112 Moscow - Krugloe Pole, No. 142 Moscow - Cheboksary will be able to transfer to buses departing from the station. Arzamas-2 at 07:30.

You can get to Nizhny Novgorod by plane (air passengers arrive at Strigino International Airport), by regular or high-speed train. “Swallow”, “Swift” and “Sapsan” cover the distance from Moscow to N. Novgorod in 4 hours. The travel time of a regular train is 7-10 hours. From Nizhny Novgorod, from 8:00 to 22:00, buses depart every hour to Diveevo from the parking lot of the Nebo shopping and entertainment complex (82 B. Pokrovskaya St.; next to Lyadov Square). Buses make their first and last trips from the railway station (landing under the metro bridge). Advance booking is required by calling the carrier: “Passenger” 8-800-555-05-39, “Helper” 8-987-559-22-22.

The route through the Mukhtolovo railway station will be longer, because There is no direct bus service from the railway station and you will have to make several transfers. The distance from Mukhtolovo to Diveevo is 55 km.

By car from Moscow, it is most convenient to go through Balashikha to Vladimir and, without entering Vladimir, turn to Murom, and then through the cities of Navashino, Kulebaki, Ardatov - to the village of Diveeva.
From the south it is more convenient to go through Ryazan, Shatsk, Sasovo, Ermish or through Saransk, Lukoyanov, Shatki, Lesogorsk.
From the east, for example, from Samara, the route passes through Ulyanovsk or through Penza to Saransk.

For questions about accommodation, meals, and getting to know the monastery, you should contact the Pilgrimage Center (a two-story yellow building opposite the western gate, near the Kazan Cathedral).

Multimodal transportation

From July 5, 2018 The multimodal route Moscow – Arzamas – Diveevo has opened. Every day, bus No. 517/518 departs from the Arzamas-2 railway station on the route Arzamas - Diveevo. Bus ticket – 250 rubles. Bus and train tickets can be issued at the same time at any ticket office or on the website http://pass.rzd.ru.
